SEO Optimization

With a little SEO Optimization (search engine optimization) you can create a search engine friendly page on your blog. Do it the organic way with natural seo and it won’t cost anything at all.

This is about making money from your blog page, or web page, selling physical, digital or service products from targeted website traffic. This traffic can be obtained naturally in the non paid section of the search engine’s directories at Google, Yahoo or MSN.

So the purpose of SEO Optimization is to make your page visible and of importance to the search engines. To achieve this, your page must contain original content which is of real value. Both to your customers, as well as the search engines who are seeking relevant information in response to inquiries typed into their search box. See the comments by Michael Wyszomierski of Google at the top left of this site.

For more information on how to create a search engine friendly web page, we suggest you first read Google’s Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide which is a free 32 page pdf.

Of course you could pay Google or the other search engines to put your page on the first page of their search engine results page (SERP). But their claim is to show the best pages according to the relevancy to the keyword phrase typed in the search box. If you have to pay to get your page there, how does that make your page look?

What is SEO?

Read Goggles SEO Starter Guide, but briefly, the main points to good SEO are

  • If you are creating niche blogs, make the exact keyword phrase your domain name.
  • Focus each page around one exact keyword phrase. We say page because Google ranks pages not websites.
  • Include the keyword phrase in the SEO title. That is the title of the snippet which appears on Google’s search pages. (70 characters including spaces)
  • Write a meta description tag which Google will use under the title on their search page. (150 characters including spaces)
  • Include the exact keyword phrase in the Title of your page.
  • Work the keyword phrase naturally into the text of your page. Two or three times are sufficient. Don’t overdo keywords in your text or you may be penalized for spamming.
  • Content creation; focus on writing original content which is of real value to your customers. If you can do this, not only will you impress your visitors, but Google will like you too. Web search engines are designed to find the very best original information to present in their SERPS If you’ve done your job properly, the search engines will find your page.

Increase website traffic

No matter how well you’ve done the SEO Optimization, you will have to build out your blog by adding pages which focus on secondary keyword phrases which are relevant to your product or niche. This will tell the search engines that you mean business, and other websites will start to link to you too.

But to speed up this process, you need to increase website traffic in a natural humanized way. To do this you have to help to maneuver your page onto the search engine’s first search results page (SERP). And the accepted way to achieve this relatively quickly is to create in — content links on the pages of other trusted blogs. The links are to be targeted at the relevant keyword phrase on each page of your blog.

The more links you get to your pages the quicker they will begin to move onto the search engine’s first search page and start to climb to number one. It can be done; there are simple techniques you should learn and implemented by a proven targeted traffic strategy.
